Looky Looky who it is....

SUMMER 2009!!

Top one..us being our silly goofy selfs..the bottom one my favorite of all time!! I have a beautiful family..I am soo blessed!!

Well Well..guess who it is??
That's right I am back well at least to share some pictures of my beautiful family..and let you know that we are all doing well and that we have been very very busy this summer!!
Lets see where should I start??
Emily Klair played softball for the first time this spring..had a ball and loved it!! She did well, had some really great hits, and even made a play in the field one game that tied up the ballgame!! She has chosen to go back to soccer this fall..but I think I may have my softball girl after all...
Tyler is still doing soccer and loving it, although all his friends seem to be pushing for him to play baseball so we may be doing that this spring...but we will see..soccer has just been "his" sport and he is so good at it...(I am the mother so I can brag ) I will be happy with any sport he chooses but have to admit if he quit playing soccer I would be sad..it is so fun to watch him..

Warren and I have been busy with the kids and Warrens work.. I am going to be the pre-k teacher this year at our Tuesday-Thursday program @ church and I am really looking forward to it...I have put in a lot of work in my classroom these past few weeks...we went to Myrtle Beach for a week with the Lancasters this is our 4th yr for a family vacation with them. Had a great vacation, the kiddos were great and we all had a lot of fun playing putt putt, cards on the deck at night watching the ocean, and just being together! We also went to Panama City Beach with my mom and dad, and the whole family!! It was great and we had a wonderful time!!

School is starting Wed. the kids register then start their first full day on Monday. I am soo not looking forward to it, I like my kiddos home with me, swimming, playing or even fighting I don't care as long as they are home with me. Tyler made the jump rope team at school and will be in the 3rd grade, EK will be in the 1st grade...wow time really does fly!

I guess that about sums up our summer...so I will leave you all with some favorite pics of SUMMER '09......

Don't ask me why this picture is turned this way when it is not when I downloaded..just turn your head to look at it..haha

Update on the family...

This picture just showed up on its own and I cant get it to go away!! argh I've been gone too long..sorry you will just have to see it twice!! hehehe

Well lets see where should I start??

I could start with the house project that seems never ending... and almost overwhelming that on some days I have started wishing why did I even start this?? Lets just leave it with this about the house if you were to "just stop by" I would tackle you before I let you in this house..but it does feel good to know that progress is being made even if not as fast as I would like.

Tyler is doing great he had his check up on his back in December and it did not move at all in 6 months so we do not even need to check on it again for another year. He is participating in Lads to Leaders this weekend at the Opryland hotel in Nashville and we are so excited to go have a mini vacation. He has worked really hard on the puppets, and photography, but it was like pulling teeth to get him to practice Bible bowl or his Bible reading...boys will be boys!! He FINALLY lost his first tooth a couple weeks ago!! He has been waiting for this day for a long time....so the tooth fairy paid her first visit to our house!!

Emily Klair is doing great in school. I am really proud of the progress she has made on this last report card. The girl is finally catching on and starting to read!! YAY! We are soo proud!! We were really worried about her...but it is like a light has went on and she gets it!! She is my tough one..not that Tyler is not tough but she is REALLY tough!! She is also my daredevil, jumping, flipping, standing, just being a monkey from any height on the monkey bars. Well she jumped from the top of the swing set at my mother in laws and broke her wrist....she got up shook it off and kept right one playing!! When she got home I knew something was wrong but all she would say is her arm hurt alittle...so I didn't take her to the Dr., then the next the morning when she still wouldn't really use it for certain things I decided it was time to get it checked out..even though she still said "no it doesn't hurt!" Well sure enough it was broke, crazy girl, I wish I had taken her that afternoon instead of making her wait all night, but really who knew as tough as she is??

They are both playing sports again this spring...Tyler is playing soccer..I know surprise surprise!! Emily Klair has decided she wants to try softball..so we are going to practice and she can throw the ball but until the wrist gets better nothing else! WE are hoping she gets the brace off this week..fingers crossed she is ready and so are we..that thing stinks!! yucky!!

Warren just celebrated his birthday!! I wish I could get him a new truck he deserves a new vehicle soo much but with the remodel on this house and the dream house right around the corner there is no way right now..we have looked and searched but it is just not in the cards right now...maybe soon!!

What a slacker!!

I am not doing a really good job at keeping up with anything these days. For those of you that know and those of you that do, we are trying to get our house cleaned out and fixed up so we can get it on the market and with fingers crossed try to sell it. Warren and I bought some land about 4 years ago and are ready to build our dream home. We have been in this house for 9 years so we have collected quite alot of stuff or should I say junk through out the years... we are really trying to weed it out since we will be having to move twice since we wont be moving straight into our dream home. So with all this going on I have decided that I am taking a break from the blogging world. I will keep this site because I love to come and read up on you all and your families! I hope that you all are well!

Happy Birthday Emily Klair!!!

WOW !! where does the time go?? top pic on her 3rd birthday..bottom pic on our beach trip this summer..what a difference!!
Last year on her Birthday!!

My baby is 6 years old today!! I have no more babies in this house....I was looking at some old pictures today and thought I would share some of Emily Klair from the last three years...it is amazing to me at how much she has grown. She is a sweet girl and is a big daddy's girl..she loves to draw and be the center of attention!! She is shy yet will talk your head off once she feels comfortable with you!! She is special in her own way and brings such joy into our lives!!! She is in kindergarten this year and loves it. She is doing well for the most part with the seizures..(wish the meds helped get rid of them all...or better yet just wish she would out grow them all together).. Hope you enjoy some of these pics they were some of my favorites!!

Snow day!!!

On days like today I really miss my camera.

I would love to show some pictures of this beautiful winter wonderland we have right now. The kiddos played outside for about 2 1/2 hours this morning in it. They had a ball!! I went out for a while with them but not the whole time!! They were frozen by the time I made them come in...

I love snow like this because it might have been mentioned a little on the news but not anything other then a few flurries.no big deal!! It was so beautiful coming down and sticking to everything!! I do not know why but it is always more beautiful and fun to me when they have not predicted it and talked it to death..it was quite a lovely surprise to say the least!!!

I made lunch and we ate it picnic style in the living room watching a movie while they warmed themselves up....have I mentioned I love having my kiddos home??? Today has been a great day!! the only regret..no camera!! I've got to get that on my Christmas list asap!!!

BAHUMBUG!!!

Sorry that I have not blogged in awhile. Just a busy time for the Robinson's I guess!!

Give-Away day was a huge success we saw over 705 families that day!!! We had some excitement this year. We start giving out numbers at around 5 am, well this year we had families show up at 2pm the afternoon before and sit out in the parking lot in lawn chairs. At about 4 am we got a phone call thinking they were calling my father in law (which does not happen alot but does occasionally) telling us that a fight had broke out and they had to call the police, fire, and ambulance. It was a mad house and has been described as a mini riot by some that were there. I think we are going to have to come up with a better system in the future.

We had a great Thanksgiving and made it safely to MI and back. My dad took all the guys and Krysi to see the Titans play the Lions on Thanksgiving day!! Tyler had a ball...I played outside with the girls and we built their first real snowman...it was such a blast!!!

Warren is in Boston this week and I am missing him already! We are making it just fine without him but will be glad when he his home.

We have a lot to be thankful for and I am....but I am also having a very hard time getting into the Christmas spirit this year! I am hoping that will change in the next few days...we now have our tree up (which was a huge event in itself..it kept falling over..it was nuts!!) and I am almost done with the shopping...so hopefully I won't be bahumbug for too much longer!!

Give-Away Day....

Tomorrow is give-away day at my church and I love this day.

Every year, all year we collect items like coats, furniture, diapers, clothing, household items, school supplies, cleaning supplies, linens, book, toys and we even have big items donated like computers, T.V.'s, and bikes. Our whole community is invited and we usually have around 550 people show up. They are given a Bible and a number then they are called to go through the rooms to get whatever they need. At the end of the rooms they are given a bag of groceries with all the fixing's for a Thanksgiving dinner, ham included.

It is a wonderful day and I am blessed beyond measure, and this day always helps to remind me of that. I love this day for other reasons to though, it is a day of great fellowship with my church family. I also love it because my children are welcome to help, Emily Klair is still to young to really realize what is going on and what she is doing to help but Tyler gets it and has already been a big help. After working at church yesterday afternoon and on into last night, his bed time prayer was very sweet, the boy has a very tender heart!

I pray for tomorrow and the families we will be helping.
